Completed the cleaning and reassembly of the springs (with Nigel’s assistance). Had to replace both of the front spring shackle bushings and also the torque reaction spring bushing. Replaced all of the spring shackles and spring clip bolts. Lined up the two axles under the chassis and installed the springs. Then raised the chassis using jacks to position each axle on the centre bolts of the springs. The U–bolts were placed over each end of each axle and bolted through to the seat plate.

The wheels have been put on to make the chassis movable and ready for the next stage. Visitors of the month are Gordon and Mark.
