A good month, with quite a few bits on the go. Cut off the off side front shock hanger and bolted on a new one. Dave was called in to weld it securely into place. Both front and rear prop shafts were stripped down and cleaned up. All of the UJs are fine but I will replace them all anyway. As you can see in the photo’s, a happy Chris stripping the gear and transfer boxes. He has a lot of experience and I will rely on his judgement with what will need to be replaced. On first looks, the gearbox is in surprisingly good condition, it was fully oiled and there were no signs of water ingress. Detailed investigation of the parts will be required when completely stripped.
