NOVEMBER - 2009 PROGRESS With the help of Gordon’s steering wheel puller (and a lot of tension applied by a very large spanner) the wheel gave in and popped off. With only Nigel and myself there, a quick phone call had to be made to gather troops to assist with removing the body. Luckily Bob and Dave came to the rescue and, with one big lift, the body had to raise up & backwards to clear the steering column and gear shifts. Just after removing the body we had surprise guests, Gordon & Hazel. They were both willing to assist in moving the body around to the rear of the garage where it will be stored until restoration. Had time to gently rub down the sides of the hood to check for any original numbering. As you can see the numbers 2059656-1 have been found. This I can try and research for any clues to the Jeep's history. CLICK ON AN IMAGE FOR A LARGER PICTURE
