The body and wheels are now back from being shot blasted (pictures next month). Finished the generator and starter motor, both surprisingly in good condition. Just needed a good clean up and paint. As you can see, they are now fitted and, with a new fan belt, are ready to go. Have spent a long time cleaning and refurbishing the carburettor. I bought a complete repair kit for the carter carb, which has all the jets, screws, washers and linkages required. Two of the original jets had welded themselves in and had to be removed with a bit of force (Gordon with an easy-out tool and Nigel with a cutting tap).
